Is your company looking for ways to be greener?
Is printing your documents on paper that's manufactured from environmentally friendly resources important to you and your company?
In 2008 DMI made the financial investment to secure not just one, but three different certifications that can ensure the paper we use for your printing is not needlessly damaging our environment. Our FSC, SFI, and PEFC certifications are evidence of our commitment to purchase paper from sources that only harvest from well managed forests and are backed by strict third party certification and chains of custody. These organizations complement each other ‘s roles and provide:
Suppliers are certified in over 50 countries
The involvement of 149 worldwide governments covering 85% of the world's forest area
Natural forests aren't converted for printing paper
Highly hazardous pesticides are prohibited
Genetically modified trees aren't cultivated
Reviews each certified paper operation at least once a year – and if they're found not to comply, their certificate is withdrawn
How can selecting DMI as your printer highlight your commitment to promoting greener business practices?
DMI's in-stock papers are by choice from environmentally responsible sources. On every job you can rest assured that you're doing business with a printer that shares your commitment to leaving a greener legacy for future generations.
To further highlight your commitment to the environment, at your request DMI will secure a chain of custody certification for the specific paper used to print your individual job. Then we'll special order certified stocks and print an approved logo on your document along with the chain of custody certificate number to highlight your choice to do business with an environmentally responsible printer.
