FTP, or File Transport Protocol, is a protocol that allows you to move files from one computer to another over the internet. At DMI, FTP is used to transport customer files from their computers to ours.
Although web browsers are able to upload and download files from an FTP server, we recommend using FTP client software such as
FileZilla
. The FileZilla FTP Client is a small download and very quick to install. It has been tested extensively by DMI and we strongly recommend it for both our Macintosh and PC clients.

To connect to the DMI FTP Server, point your FTP client to
ftp.dmiprint.com
and enter the username and password provided by your DMI sales representative. If you choose to use your web browser, go to
ftp://ftp.dmiprint.com
and use the username and password provided by your DMI sales representative.
NOTE: When using Microsoft's Internet Explorer 7 or later web browser, FTP files are read-only unless you follow the instructions located at the top of Internet Explorer after connecting the FTP site.
